The Incredible Dental Support Team

Amy

I’ve been with Dr. Singleton for 11 years.  I have an Associates Degree in Applied Science in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from Kellogg Community College.  I am certified by the Academy of Laser Dentistry for use of C02 laser and CPR certified.  I am interested in the treatment of periodontal (gum) disease and working with children.  When I was 13 and got my braces I knew I loved dentistry.  When I’m not in the office, you will find me enjoying my husband and three girls.  My favorite thing to do is spend time with family and friends, go shopping and water sports.

I’ve been with Dr. Singleton for eight and a half years.  I have a B.S. in Dental Hygiene from the University of Michigan.  I am certified to administer local anesthesia and certified to use the CO2 laser for periodontal treatments by the Academy of Laser Dentistry.  I knew I loved dentistry when I was 12 and my two front teeth were saved after a Go-Cart accident.  When I am not in the office, you will find me with my three year old little boy, playing in the sand box, catching grasshoppers or dangling soft colorful squishy toys in front of my baby.  When there is enough time in a day, I also enjoy scrapbooking.  My favorite thing to do is eat dinner at Olive Garden, have a rich dessert and see a great movie.

I have been with Dr. Singleton for 12 wonderful years.  I am a registered Dental Assistant and this is the one and only dental office I have worked in since I graduated from WCC with my Associates in Communication.  I am also certified in CPR and Nitrous Oxide.  I enjoy working with people and children.  I love to see the results we can produce, and make people feel excited about their smile.  When I am not in the office, I love spending time with my husband, daughter and three step-sons; playing golf and baseball, or cooking and baking my favorite recipes.

For five fabulous years, I have been working with Dr. Singleton as a Certified/Registered Dental Assistant.  I am also certified in CRP and OSHA.  When you have twins at home, like I do, "me" time is crucial and so I love getting lost in my work.  I thoroughly enjoy cosmetic cases - it's like being on the set of an Extreme Makeover show - and to see the patient look into the mirror for the first time with their new smile, that initial reaction is priceless to me.  Their face is filled with so much emotion and happiness, and it makes my job here so rewarding.  When I am not working, I love to hang out with my kids and husband - going to movies, shopping for the latest trends, or simply riding our bikes up to the park.

I’ve been with Dr. Singleton for two years. I have a certificate from Wastenaw Community College in dental assisting and registered dental assisting, I am radiology and CPR certified.  I like general dentistry and orthodontics.  I knew I loved dentistry both when I was in high school and after my daughters and I went through orthodontics.  When I’m not in the office you will find me at church or babysitting my grandchildren, cleaning, fishing or boating with my family.  I enjoy walking on an isolated beach, getting lost in a book, listening to birds and wind chimes and being with my husband and children.

I’ve been with Dr. Singleton for ten years.  I have an Associates Degree in dental assisting from Washtenaw Community College.  I’m a Registered Dental Assistant and I’m radiography, CPR and OSHA certified.  I’m interested in implant and cosmetic dentistry.  I have loved dentistry from the time I was very young.  When I’m not in the office, you will find me on the trails of Northern Michigan snowmobiling, diving off the cost of Hawaii, downhill skiing in my home state of Alaska or rolling the dice at a craps table in Las Vegas.  My favorite thing to do is discover new traveling adventures and play in the surf on an island beach with my husband and daughter.
